    Time to REST

    HALLOoo!!

I'm back again after a while! PHEWW!

I've been like soooo busy with schoolwork that I put to halt everything except studying! I know, it's so bad! Therefore, I was stressed.. Until, I let go and let God! =D
It's like the best thing ever coz I feel that my burden is lightened. Ok, this does not mean that I'm slack like no one's business! I still did my part as in work hard but not overly stress because I'm relying on my own strength. I believe that as long as I do my best and trust God to do His part, I'M COOL WITH IT! =]

So finally, the NIE EXIT PRODUCTION is over! Yeay! Being a stage manager is super fun! I began to love the control room because I just connect with the people in it AKA Light Assistant and Sound Manager. Hehe.. My favorite words are "Light cue ready...and..go!" or "Lights, blackout, in 5...4...3...2...1...now!" or "Sound stand-by.. Waiting for sound cue.."
It's so much fun ya! For the first two acts, we can't really breathe, because there just TONS of cues. ONly after the NDP part then we can breathe properly again. HAHA..I love my control room people -- BIG HUGS for YOU ALL!

I'm having my recess now..Actually, it's just a study break for a week. Next week got TONS of assignments..But nevermind, as long as it's a break from schoolwork. Lots of fun things planned out for me.. HAHA..for example, on Monday I went for movie marathon! SOOOO much fun!!! Went for $6 movies in Ang MO Kio HUB -- student rate! Watched Premonition, The Invasion and Rogue Assasin. From 11am all the way to 5pm. After that, went to Arcade and play POOL! hahaha...I can judge my pool playing that day. Relatively well because I scored 1 final ball in 1 eight-ball game. Also, I did make other balls go in too.. I did the break well also, btw -- FINALLY! I managed to get 1 ball in the hole! ROCKKKK!! Hahaha..so I feel that I'm improving in my pool skill.. HAHA...

Oh, I just got back from the Mooncake Festival AKA Mid-Autumn Festival AKA Lantern Festival in Kimmy's house. So much fun because I finally know the story behing mooncakes. HAHA..But yeah, the whole activity organized by EN campus ROCKS like no one's business -- THANKS IVY!!!! =]

Alright, now i'm so called "addicted" to facebook. It's kinda fun huh to add in lots of applications til you dunno what to do with those. HAha..I figured that the SUPERPOKE! and THE BAKERY application is the best! Fun fun fun! Anyway, better get going.

The message for today is ....

"When you have time to take a break, REST because this time does travel fast."

What I mean by this is that don't overstress yourself. It's not good for your health also. So when you are given the time to rest, do take time to REST so that you can work more effectively in your next assignment.

Better to rest than spend money because of stress right?

    Grandma, Hold on Tight

Grandma went to ICU yesterday night after knowing her heart stopped beating for a while.
I was just back from dining with my other Grandpa and Aunt. Someone was driving us home, but when I saw that there was a huge ambulance block our way inside to the dead end, I suddenly realized that it was from my house!! I got out of the car and rushed into the house. The first thing I saw was that "emergency bed". I dashed upstairs and saw my grandma, maids, grandpa, doctor and all the civil defence people. Everything happened so fast that I was still in point of shock when they were checking her up and brought her downstairs. The only time I was able to talk to her before she was dashed to the ambulance was when they were strapping her to the "emergency bed". I got next to her, touching her hand, looking right into her eyes and said, "Grandma, don't worry. God is with you. Just stay calm and everything will be fine. We'll be praying for you at home." Then they dashed her out.

At that point, I really was still a bit calm. I talked to the maid and just asked her what happen. Turned out that everything happened after her dinner. She was brought to the bed. Then she complained that she had chest pain. Then suddenly, she was turning blue. One of the maid was trained if this case happened. She checked her pulse and shook my grandma. Then she started breathing again. The doctor and ambulance were called.

Anyway, in the end I kept on thinking what should I do at this point. I couldn't possibly stay at home while my grandma was rushed to the hospital. So I told my sister that I wanted go down to hospital. So we called the cab and rushed to the hospital with my grandma's primary caregiver. Once reached, we just waited for the longest time. Doctors rushing here and there constantly. I hate hopitals. Such a depressing place. No one looks happy at all.
The emergency doctor's news was quite horrible. She said my grandma won't live after tonight. We all broke down, but I really just put my trust in God. I do believe that everything is in God's hand. So i prayed constantly asking God to let her hang in there while the rest of the family are flying over. And yes, God did answer my prayer. She was moved to ICU room and the doctor there said her condition was much better than before. PHEEWW! I thanked God for that miracle. She actually collapsed right after she reached the hospital. This itself is already a miracle. Even though she collapsed, the hospital got the equipment to aid her and get her to breathe again.
So now she's in ICU with breathing tube and lots of other tubes. Looking at her like that, I can't stop myself from tearing. I did get a chance to talk to her in her coma. I just said that God is with her and that the kids are on the way to see her, even her grandchildren. As I said that, I teared. I kept on saying that God is with her and that she should keep her heart clean all the time. We told her not to worry coz God is in control of her life. This time, she teared when I said that. Mind you, she was in a coma, but she could hear whatever we said. That is the point where I broke down and say, "God, I want to spend my time with her as I haven't been spending most my time with her. Give me the chance."

I just wanted to stay by her side -- wanted to stay in the hospital, but won't happen because I can't. Wanted to meet her in the hospital now, but can't because I have school. Dad and Grandpa are still insisting that I go to school whenever I have the opportunity. I'm obeying them, but I really can't wait to just be with my whole family.
At this point, there isn't much things to do except praying and having faith that God holds my Grandma's future. Whatever it is, God has everything in control. Everything that seems so bad, God will turn it to good. As I always believe,

    Everything happens for a purpose.

Keep her in prayers always so that she can see her whole family united again *hugs*
