Finally! BLOG UPDATED....hahaha....

Here I am back in Singapore after 3 weeks + (dec 8 - jan 3) back in Jakarta for Christmas and New Year. It was quite a fun experience.. Here's how I would describe it: AMAZINGLY, INCREDIBLY, RADICALLY FANTASTIC!!! I mean, c'mon, I got to spend these long holiday with my big family and close friends..Isn't it HOT or what?! hehe...Anyway, many great moments there... I SIMPLY LOVE IT! So, I think I will have to tell all of you there what I've been doing for the past 3 weeks + ...Of course, it will not be in detail..duh! But only the major events that happen..here goes...............

WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS + :: (First 10 things)

1. (Dec 10) In the Church Choir just a day after I arrived ~ amazing stamina..haha..

2. (Dec 11) Attend the PRIME (Professional in Marketplace) Christmas ~ I sang (backup singer as of now) for the service and then I didn't win anything for the door prize... SAD...

3. (Dec 13) Attend the WIN (Women Influence) Christmas ~ With "round-table" settings, dinner is served! =) Again, I sang for the service. Also, presented a special offering song "O Come Emmanuel". Wasn't all that, but could be better..Again, didn't win ANYTHING for the door prize.

4. (Dec 15) Help the FINAL ALL CAST AND DRESS REHEARSAL at the school for the MUSICAL A Light in Darkness Glows presented by MSA students ~ Now, the special thing about this musical is that I am one of the CREATIVE DEPARTMENT committee. Basically, I help come out with the storyline or ideas. This was done like in May. Everything is still scratch aka BIG 0!! But then, when I arrived and saw the all cast and dress rehearsal, I WAS IN AWE! *applaude* I help out in being the Stage Manager (again!) I pretty much got the idea in what to do as I did stage managing before (unprofessional one, unfortunately). But then, in the end it turn out GREAT!

5. (Dec 16) Attend the YoF (Youth on Fire) Christmas ~ Again, I sang for the service and did a special song (the same as WIN). This time, the performance was quite ODD! We started out GREAT however, towards the middle aka modulation, the cd SKIPPED! haaa...imagine that! Performing in front of 150++ people and then the cd skipped making all of us on stage go 'WHAT DA HECK?!?!" In my heart, I was screaming to the sound booth people like "TURN OFF THE CD AND LET US SING ACCAPELLA!" But hello!! It didn't happen coz no one heard me! DUH! Anyway, we survived after like 2 minutes of embarassment with the ending "Rejoice" (repeated several times one after another. but the lead singer end with "shall come to thee......" It dangles...haha...supposed to have "O Israel" in the end but the rest are not singing it..haha..) Again, there was another door prize.. One of them was Rp 200,000 Voucher for ZARA!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't get it,, SHUCKS! OH oh,, the praise and worship for this service was EXCLUSIVE because we got to use the roving LIGHTINGS! The setting is more like a nightclub. It was awesome tho! Great music, great lighting, great atmosphere, great SERVICE!

6. Throughout the week (end on dec 16), the school had this postman delivery service. So all cards or gifts the students or parents or teachers wished to send to other students or parents or teachers are sent thru this postman service.. Basically, what I'm trying to say is, i was the postWOMAN. I deliver gifts and cards to almost everyone in MSA. I waited either in the teacher's lounge or the post office..CUTE hUH?! lol... It was quite cute tho, coz i have this little tykes who sang carols or read poems while delivering with me...HEHE...

7. (Dec 18) PASTORAL Christmas at the Wowors' house ~ This is great coz i got to hang out with my old and closest friends ever! THE PKs!!!!! whoooppiieee! Anyway, we got to eat Gang Gang Su Lai's food (yummy!) and then Mrs. Wowor's WELL-KNOWN and SUPER GOOD Tiramisu (with Kahlua, of course). Then I got to learn how to cook LASAGNA! yummmmm....tastes awesome man! We sang carols and get to share what miracle and favor God gave in 2006 (I got to share about my piano exam and how I got into NIE!) Btw, the best part of all is that we got to sing for the VERY FIRST TIME our special "Jingle Bells"! hehe...this song was quite difficult okay.... it was the Point of Grace arrangements.. So it sounded like the 70s radio songs..It was great! Everyone loved it! I loved it too! Well, in the end, we all give gifts to all the kids and families there. LOTS AND LOTS OF 'EM!

8. (Dec 19) PKs MOVIE (Principal's Kids Movie) ~ We watched The Nativity Story at Pondok Indah Mall 2 (PIM 2). It was a great movie. We saw the sacrificial side of Joseph. Wow, rare but radical!! Oh, I went to the Wowors' house again for lunch - yesterday's lasagna..haha... After the movie, I went to IZZI Pizza at Menteng to join the PRIME COMMITTEE DINNER. whoa! food! yum!

BLOOPERS: My stomach is currently making lots of noise coz i'm talking about food a lot! =p

9. (Dec 21) MSA CHRISTMAS BANQUET AT HOTEL MULIA SENAYAN ~ the highlight of the year! Why I said so? Because :: first, the Musical A Light in Darkness Glows is set for premiere on stage! This one is with full lighting, sound, props, and, of course, audiences! Second, I was the Associate Usher Coordinator. I was to manage the food traffic, but in the end, I managed the Greeters and Ushering also. Basically, I put people in order, let them smile, check their tickets, usher them to their seats. This is what my junior should do tho. I just assigned them what to do and who do what... hehe...It was great! Third, I got to enjoy the time again with my family and close friends! The 11 PKs was placed on 1 special round table (with 11 chairs,, the rest of the tables are 10 chairs). Hehe... Then we got to light the candle and take LOTS and LOTS of pictures! Fourth, I got to use the dress I bought in Singapore for $126! haa...It looks nice on me. Hehe...people all commented that okay! haha... i took lots of pics of myself (narsis ~ i know!) Fifth, I got to stay in the hotel for a night! Hey, I need this okay! After a long long long day, from morning (final general rehearsal) until night (the banquet), i got no rest! So, after the banquet is done with all pictures and extra food consumption taken, I just need to went up to my room and wash face, body, and hair, then SLEEP! Wait, more pictures of myself tho..haha.. conclusion, I had an awesome time before and during the banquet! pictures and more info are available on this blog.

10. (Dec 24) MSI (Morning Star Indonesia) Christmas Service ~ early morning, we go to CHURCH and then we can't BELIEVE, it's Christmas EVE! (hey, that rhymes! cool!) It was a great service! Again, I sang for the service. The grand thing about today was that we had a grand premiere of "Jingle Bells" for 3 services! hehe...it was awesome man! so much unity! Can hear the smooth and rockin' voices..hehe..i wish to upload the song, but i don't know how..Anyone knows? Tell me please!!! Anyway, AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!

Conclusion of PART 1:

DEC 25 ~ CHRISTMAS DAY! I had family brunch at home. Again, I cook with my Dad and siblings..it tasted great! hehe...tho some wierd stuffs do happen..like the omelette that looks like cookies..haha...and then, sharing time and presents opening time!! The best gifts man! I'm tellin' you...2006 is what i call the "branded christmas"..most of the gifts I got were like branded! (Guess, Yves Saint Laurent, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Body Shop, Mark & Spencer, Icy, Art Fashion, many more!) It was superb!

The best part of all, I got to spend quality time with my family and close friends! I went Christmas shopping with my family for like 2 days! hehe...and then also decorate the house and Christmas tree (tho i do most of the work..haha...) with them also! I love it! Enjoyable time, especially when I'm abroad most of the months. Christmas is the time to gather with my family and spend amazing moments together!
