the dumbest thing that happen to me today......

here goes.....

i was in NIE library like for more than an hour already...I was really really thirsty..so i went to the end of the library and found a drinking fountain. normally, i would bend my head then press the button for the water...feels good...but not today!!! i still did the same method i always did...bend head then press the button..but then,,this water fountain in the library is really wierd! the water sprayed higher than usual! so then it eventually wet my whole face! including my hair!!!!! aaarrrghhhh!!! i'm in the library for goodness sake! not in PE class! =S
That stupid thing is really stupid! haha...then someone tolde me tat we should press the button first then bend our head! hahaha....i'm like bird bathing in the drinking fountain!

BLUE-BLACK-PURPLISH

BLUE - BLACK - PURPLISH actually describes my foot. The exact spot would be the ankle of my right foot!

How can this happen? Read the story.....

I love drama class, but I am the victim of it's cruelty. The professor asked us to observe 2 people last week. I observed 2 people. FIrst is a worry wart man in BUs. Then a little 4-year-old girl in MRT. That girl was very active. She would play around the hand rail. She loved to talk and to jump. This was what I observe about that girl's character. She's very vigorous and cheerful.

It was Monday morning drama class. I was very happy and excited. Just now was my time to perform what i had seen in that observation. We were supposed to create a short skit of what that person was doing. We had to make our own storyline. I did the 2 people i observed. The second person, the girl, was the cause of the accident. I exaggerated her character. I created her to be more than excited. I created HYPERness in her. LoL!! There were at least 6 cubes and boxes on the blackbox just now. We were suppose to make use of those things. SInce I potrayed this girl as a hyperactive girl, I had to act it out in front of the class. I did! I ran around and stand on the cubes. I was pretending to be that girl in the MRT standing on chairs. hehehe...But then, towards the end of my performance, accident happened! I was not balance when i set my right foot on top of the box! I SLIPPED!! I FELL BUT NOT TO THE GROUND! But still,, I slipped! I hurt my ankle, but I thought it would be okay by 10 minutes. But,, i was wrong. It still hurts up to NOW! u may think,, "gosh, what the heck is this girl thinking?"

Oh goodness gracious, I didnt set my foot right now i got this horrible feeling of pain! I did apply medication oil already! It should be okay soon! I hope i can walk properly again! =)

61th Years of Indonesian Independence!!!!!!

Yep, today, Aug 17, 2006, is a BIG day for me.. If i'm in indonesia now, i would be raising the RED n WHITE flag in front of my house. I would sing the national anthem: Indonesia Raya. I would salute to the flag as it is raised proudly to the sky above. Oh, I miss Indonesia! I miss those days where I have to stand under the hot pierce of the sun just to see my flag go up. Now I regret why I never concentrate during those times. I want to go back for Indonesia's independence day next time! I want to see joy in the Istana Merdeka and the streets. In fact, I want to see RED AND WHITE everywhere...

MAnu Ginobli Xperience!!

Aug 12, 2006 @ 4 pm...i went to Singapore Indoor Stadium..for what? i watched the PHILIPS SINGAPORE CUP 2006!!! Yeay! I got free tickets to enter that game from NTU! What was that thing about?? It's a basketball game! NBA players were there too! well,, not all,, but some! the only 1 i know is MANU GINOBLI from San Antonio Spurs! uh huh...i got to see him LIVE! lol...as in real person!! i took like lots n lots of pic OF him....yeah...seriously,, LOTS! anyway,, didnt get a chance to ask his autograph or pic WITH him coz i got no VIP ticket...but hey,, i got to see him play! he is dropdead good! i'm telling you...oh btw,, this CUP is like country VS country and Club VS Club...so i watched the Malaysia All-Stars VS Melbourne Tigers...guess who won??duh! Melbourne of course! they're like soooo tall compare to the malaysians! haha..i love to see the melbs DUNK!!! oh yea!! first time i saw real life DUNK! Melb won 100++ to 60++...haha...too bad for the malaysians!

Anyway,, the next game at 6.15 was ARGENTINA VS SLOVANIA!! goodness,, those people are definitely tall! their score was pretty tight in the first two quarters..Argentina led by only 1 ball (2 pt).. btw,, ginobli is in argentina...so basically,, we did saw DUNKS and wonderful LAY-UPS! beautiful! absolutely incredible...though the ref did make some bad call,, still it was good seeing ginobli!! argentina won! i forgot the score, but it was pretty far.....yeay!!! at least i met 1 famous NBA player...free ticket! it's like one in a lifetime thing!! so anyway,,, i do not regret going to indoor stadium late in the afternoon..under the sun..then got bored in the beginning of the game (Msia VS Melb)..at least I see MANU GINOBLI play basketball right there in front of my face!!! not through electronics of any sort! THROUGH MY EYES!! hahaha....thanks NTU for the ticket...and thanks GOd,, i got that chance!! i'm looking forward to meet with more NBA stars...chauncey billups,, shaq,, prince,, wallace,, parker,, JORDAN,, and many more... =)

NEL vs NSL

I went to campus in a different route today!! usually i go for NEL but now i go for NSL..so i go take bus 72 from my place then alight in yio chu kang mrt station..take the mrt all the way to jurong east..then cross over to EWL. then voila! boon lay! then i took bus 179 to reach canteen a in NTU and......... EAT!!! BREAKFAST!!!!!!! yeayyyy!!! well,, actually,, that breakfast is suppose to be my lunch..hehe...so total trip was 1 and a half hour...not bad really..it would be the same if i take NEL..but then,, in NEL, i usually got to stand up all the way to outram park..which sucks coz it's such a longggggggggggggggg journey...btw,, i went like at 8 am!!! haaaaaa...2mrw gonna calculate the NEL travelin time..got to go at 6.45 am!!ahhhhh...peak hours!!!!!!!!! help!!! got to be in campus like at 9 am ASAP! *sigh*...write again soon =D

Torturing Piano Lesson!

i went for piano lesson today in somewhere near Eunos MRT station..it's not even near! lol..anyway,, i was suppose to go at 8.30 am..my lesson is at 10am. but hey,, it's my first time to go there. leave extra time won't hurt! everything was well planned that night. But then, i eventually woke up at 8.38!!!! so i had to rush my shower and skip my breakfast! i just drank my juice and vitamins. I walked to the bus stop and voila! there's 55! i took the bus and had count until 25 stops to the other bus stop! lol...the bus stop is like in front of the apartment..anyway, i made it to my teacher's place early..so no problem there right??

It was scheduled that I had 1 hour of lesson and the other hour will be for my sister. So total, i had to be in my teacher's house for 2 hours. not that bad eh?? hehe...BUT! i didnt go according to my plan!!! i sat there for 4 hours!!! 2 and a half hours doing nothing! practically nothing!! lol! i even slept for at least half an hour! right there! in the room! lol..but that was when i wait for my sis...man! no offense,, the teacher talks a lot! she's soooo detailed...but,, i hope this thing wont happen again! i got gastric in the end! i didnt eat at all! late lunch! my stomach hurts super bad!!!ahhh....i hope saturday will be a better day for piano lesson!

tuesday, aug , 2006... it's an unofficial holiday for me! hahaha...hey hey,, it's only a flag ceremony day in the campus...wat u expect??!?! me being an indonesian are expected to be in a singaporean national day ceremony?? where got the link? (lol,,xori my fellow singaporean friends! u r still the best. especially the one who is patriotic. u know who u r..lol)

anyway,, i skipped that parade...not secretively, dont worry..i already ask permission from my tutor to not come..since i don't even have any class that day..why should i come for just a ceremony for a country which doesnt belong to me?? hahaha...so,, i went somewhere else instead..i went to orchard road..first stop,, wisma atria aquarium..that only to give my aunt my local cellphone...then i'm off again to cathay...it's a mall behind mandarin hotel.. when i arrived, i queue up for tickets for movies...not really a long queue...but it was okay..got my tickets for NACHO LIBRE! not really crowded when we buy it...got the very back seat..oh btw,, there were 6 of us who are watching...after tat,, I went to burger king and met my friends! we grab a quick lunch and left for the showtime...

the movie was soooo funny...i cant stand but laughed all the time...seriously...my sister and i were sitting next to each other...and guess what,, we're the loudest laugher ever!! jack black!! sooo ugly but sooo funnny!!ahhahaha....i absolute like stephen! haha..he's face and his smile...my gosh,, crack me up big time! lol...anyway,, that's how the movie ended....after the movie's over,, we went around the mall to look at sum stuffs...my sis wanna find bag for school...so all 6 of us walk and walk...we cross over to heeren to walk there too...then we stop to get ice cream in McD takashimaya...we stayed there quite a looonng time...like around an hour...coz we talk and joke all the time...so cute...but then we finally parted coz it's almost time for dinner...NEL people for sure go together...so then,, that's the end of today! quite tiring but fun! i wouldnt mind getting together like that again...also,, the more the merrier! should recruit more people to join me! lol.....

first day of university

yeapppiiee!! first day of university...i think it's great! got my aed 102 class at 12.30 pm..it's a psychology class..kinda interesting..i got interesting professor,, interesting class,, interesting topic!! i'm looking forward for more classes sumtime this week..it's fun to actually feel like uni student..no longer the one in uniforms...haha..oh btw,, i got to write 2500-3000 words essay for the end of the semester!!! oh my gosh,, that's only an essay for 1 class!! how bout the others?!?!??!! i hv to thank MSA (morning star academy) for this! my highschool is like giving me essays all the time..but then i know,, it's worth it! i can actually tackle this BIG essay! God i need strength!!!!

i got holiday tomorrow and the day after tomorrow..lol...singapore's national day..so no school for 2 days! haha...isnt it funny?? after first day of school,, got 2 days holiday,, then resume..lol..

BUS tragedy #4

okay,, here's the deal..there's a certain something wif me n the bus here in singapore..i got another tragedy in bus again!!!!!! *sigh*

i was going to campus this afternoon (aug 4, 2006)..before that,, i have to grab my lunch in kovan coz no food at home..so i went to the bus stop in front of my house...then waited for quite a long time..i saw 113 coming! yeay! board the bus at last!! i got in the bus...took out my wallet...tapped my ez-link card..and *beep beep beep*...3 beeps! red lights! everyone looking at me!!!! oh my gosh! i'm doomed!! the value of my ez-link card is only -$0.28!! minus sign! minus minus minus! it was my first time that i actually experience that!! i was soooo embarass that time! haha...i gather my guts to ask the bus dricer: "how much is it to kovan?"..."90 cents".. i open my wallet..my coin fell..i didnt notice how much...good thing i have a dollar coin in my wallet..i put it in the coin machine..then got my receipt..the bus driver mentioned that i dropped a coin, and it rolled out of the door..i said, "it doesnt matter. leave it." he was so surprised coz it was a dollar coin..haha...in my heart, i thought to myself, "it's not that i want to litter. it's not that i'm proud that i won't even care about 1 dollar coin. it's just i'm too embarass to actually experience this coz everyone was looking at me."....hahaha....in a mannerly way,,i walked all the way to my seat thinking and talking to myself..i kept on comforting myself..hehe..."i'm a foreigner..it's okay..these things happen to people..no one knows u anyway."

it help me a bit saying that to myself..it's just so funny how i have to adjust myself with life in singapore!! i mean,, really...from culture to transportation!! usually if i'm in jakarta,, i would just go to the car call and call my driver..now cannot! it's like DIY (do it yourself)..hhahaha...so i'm still believing that i can get use to these quickly!! hahaha....

eat walk eat walk

Today can be defined as ALL-DAY EATING TIME!! hahaha...i've been eating and eating all the time...haha...it starts of with breakfast..i cooked my own breakfast..i had 2 hams, 2 bacons, 2 hashbrowns, 1 orange juice..yum yum...so yummy..that was a late breakfast..like at 10.30 am..then i went ,together wif my fam to tampines b bus..this time i'm almost right..i know it's bus number 72, but which stop should i go to?? i found out i should be in the opposite bus stop from where i was standing..oh well,, almost right, but not right yet..hehe...okay,, anyway,, i got on the bus and headed to tampines..i got some sleep in d bus..=D

When we arrived in tampines, my mom wanted to eat.. so we go to the food junction..i had light lunch, but still,, it's super good!! i ate roti prata with cheese and sausage...yum yum!! oh there,, cheese sausage again!! wassup wif me & cheese sausage ya W???!! hahaha...anyway,, after eating there,, we went shopping...i shop for C.O.A.X skirt, a bandana, ear sticks, and sum stuffs...afterwards,, we went to McDonald's!!! i got sum apple pie and fries and ice milo...ok,,there,, full again...haha...then we went to the library...check out sum stiffs, then go back home...after an hour of piano practice then another half an hour to clean up my room and my study place...wah,, so tiring..then,, DINNER!!! EAT AGAIN!!! hahahaha...oh my gosh! i'm still so stuff up now!! hahaha...it's good that i've been walking all d time..haha...so no worries of being fat! LOL! =P

defining the impossible!

alrighty,, today (aug 2,2006) is sooo tiring...i went to the Indonesian embassy to change my passport address..it's so far away from my place..so basically,, once u go,, no turning back..when i arrive there,, d first thing it say,, NO SHORTS OR BERMUDAS..i was like soooo shocked.. i'm wearing bermuda!! oh nooo!! i can't go in! dead meat! but then, i come to my senses again..i actually said to myself: "favor favor favor".. i can go in even with bermudas..once we got to the entry locket,, i gave the officer my indonesian id cardd (KTP) then he didnt say anything but just smiled and gave me the visitor tag..i was sooo thrilled! yeay! first stage: COMPLETED! i went in the office..man! lots of people there..i got my form then filling in those infos..i didnt know how to fill some of those blanks coz it's not specified.so i leave it blank (a no no during a test =p)..my Q number was called, then the officer notice lots of mistakes..hey,, it's my first time doing this thingy..but then,, she's so nice! she just change it and gave me the ticket for pick up! i was soooo happy that we only spend less than 30 min in tat place! yeay yeay! seriously,, favor favor favor..that's wat we need from God!

I went to campus by MYSELF for the FIRST time! it's so common for first timers to be lost in singapore's bus system..i'm serious..lots and lots of numbers...u eventually got all mixed up! ahaha...anyway, i walked to the bus stop wif my sister.. and then rushed to d first bus we spot which is 132...seriously, i tot it will lead us to KOVAN where we can take MRT from there...but guess what,, it DIDN'T!! the bus we're suppose to take is 113 / 112 / 107/ 82! so u guess it..it turn the other way! good thing we spot it like after the bus turn! haha...so basically we stop right at the next stop and walk all d way to the stop we're suppose to be! how sad is tat????!?!?!?! oh my gosh! good thing nobody know us! haha...it will be embarassing if they do...good thing i'm a foreigner..i'm okay with it...hahaha...anyway,, we managed to get in the right bus after wasting 10 minutes on dat wrong bus! hahahaha... -END

Second story... i'm on my way to campus again...then get on this bus to go to KOVAN. my gosh,, the driver is super crazy! he drove soooo fast and soooo crazy! seriously...he braked like no one was on his bus...so stupid...haha...so i managed to tap my ez-link card and seat! i walked like a drunken in his bus...then,, after sitting down.. there's this man.. a working man..darn! he walked so slow and didnt even hold on to the railing..so when the driver pushed the brake............................................................................ "whoa whoa whoa whoa," said the man ..... then he fell!! he fell so heavily tat everyone who was sleeping was awaken!!! hahaha..then he shouted this words in chinese...i was like "wow,, next time i shud hold on to the railing." -END

Third story...and probably the funniest of all! this incident happen today. i was done wif my stuff in campus...so going back...walk to the BRIDGE OF LOVE from NIE..i went with my sis n 2 of my frens. so in d middle of d way, we had to decide which bus we shud take...either 199 or 179...so then one of my fren (w**** - xori cant attached real name. he'll kill me if i do! =p) told us to go for 199..so we went down d bridge. my other fren (j***** - he wont kill me) insisted on going for 179..basically, both of d guys insisted on their own preference..then we all submitted to W. then we figured,, he was sooooo wrong!!! we waited really long for 199!!! then we saw 179 came from the other side! we scolded him, but W said it's no aircon. so it's worth it not to go there..haha..but then, right after tat bus,, another 179 came!! this time wif aircon!! wah,, we r sooo angry..haha...then W said it's ok..199 is coming..so we waited..then another 179 came!!! aiyoo,, so irritating! then J predicted tat another 179 will come..yup, he was rite..another 179 pass! my gosh!!! W was sooooo wrong wif his preference!! haha..finally, after 4 "179" bus pass us,, "199" bus came! it's kinda waste of time coz 179 n 199 goes to d same direction...then inside 199 we met sum1..now tat's another story...after tat there's another story of W and a lady..i wud name tat story THE LADY AND HIS FOOT...hahahahahha.....funny things happen to him today..seriously,, come to think of it,, i laugh all the time it happen! up to now,, i'm still laughing like crazy! haha...xori W! haha...u'r just too cute to be true! hahaha...i had fun though! oh btw,, look at d bright side of all of this..... i felt very young because i got to laugh all day!!! all thanks to W! =p

PS: there's another story on the MRT...but i wont tell it coz sum1 will surely kill me for this..haha..i'll be dead if i tell this story...haha...can u tell how i'm enjoying myself here????? =D

50% OFF!!

This is so cool! I went to Gelare today with some friends in Dhoby Ghaut. We got that 50% off on freshly baked waffles...so yummy...at least it stuff me up after that director's welcoming thing in the campus...this aLL thanks to Wayne! haha...thanks for informing us and bringing us to eat good food...hahaha...btw,, if u'r wondering how we can go together,, i'll tell u! we basically have this NEL club. it's an unofficial club that we made up.haha..only for those people living in the north-east side of Singapore can join.haha...actually, we just made it up..having fun with it..coz those in NEL live far away from the campus which is in Boon Lay. what we do is,, we go and come to and fro the campus together...quite a bond eh? haha...just a week of bonding (or less),, we can get to know each other very well. it's very good! my friends are d best! (thx ya'll!) I never thought that i can clique so fast with people here! to be honest, i thought my life would be miserable here in Singapore.. but then, i found out,, it's not bad after all!! i'm enjoying myself! looking forward for d future!! hope i can befriend more peoplE! can't wait for d classes to start! who's in my class again??
