YEay! West Side Story production is over! =]

i'm so happy we did it so well! tho there are some glitches, but still, IT'S LIKE SUPER COOL!

Imagine how cool the stage look like.. the church auditorium was transformed to a theater space! it really look like Broadway! HOTNESS! and the cool thing is, it's in Indonesia where nice theater space is rare! i love my church =D

basically, I really had a blast! many people contributed to this production and seriously, all the hard work paid off!

Tho i'm not the main character, i still enjoyed myself just because of the togetherness and the amazing work God showed us -- the production team! i'm just a substitute in the production. i actually only thought that i'm going to be one of the trainer-- yes, i did train few acts, but there is more to that. i'm the last minute substitute for one of the cast. this part needs to dance and act. i tell you, te choreography is not easy at all! super difficult! but again, God's grace is sufficient! i manage to pull it through! =]

enough on me, now go to the production! all the cast are MSA's high school students (of course, except me and angel - but we are alumnis!!!) basically, two thumbs up for them! seriously! with only 3-4 month preparation, everything looked so AWESOME! i am still in awe! =p

there are many best experiences during the production...and many people i would like to thank personally for making it my best experience!

1. mainly trusting GOd for grace in midst of doubtness. i thought i cant learn the choreography to the max, but i din make any mistake at all! happy!! =D thanks God for making the production successful!!

2. hanging out with the high schoolers. i love em so much! i got to know many more of the students. i even became very close to some of the gals - i never tot this would happen coz i'm really their "senior", seriously... playing cards "chap sa" is the best time passer ever! also, taking pics! and, our last game, DOMIKADO!!! hahaha...BIG thanks to my girls: monica,renata,arum,pukta,johanna,evelyn, kresta,jely,tasha! thanks also to the boys: abang,nate,revel,abraham,ricky,yosi,characa!

3. discipline myself to rehearse the dance steps with my dance partner, yosh! we are freakin tired, and he still got exams, but we know we need to sacrifice our comfy time to work hard on our steps. seriously, i had trouble dancing with him at first coz i always rehearse on my own! but i'm glad he's very supportive and we both learn from our mistakes in every single rehearsal we had! THANKS so much! you did such a great job!

4. huge thanks to jessica and ms bo for being so patient in seeing me practice me stuff! also to k fit for helping me with my costumes! lol..

5. many thanks to the "tante" and "kakak" from la belle salon.. esp the one that believe i'm Marilyn Monroe but Chinese version... ya'll did my hair n make up well. it really din come off..seriously...it's difficult to come off! but in return, i got many positive feedback from people who saw me -- pretty! =]

6. the backstage crew -- high school students too and professionals -- amazing!! they din bump on any actors until they mess up the show! great job! they do learn from their mistake from the first show and DID NOT repeat it on the second! a job well done!!!

7. the audiences play a big part in the show! the second show had responsive audiences. most definitely we will be more excited to perform the best for them to see as well!

8. many audience came up to the stage to ask for pictures and autographs! it's so cute! i saw many kids chasing us around to get their photo taken with us while we actually are chasing each other to get our own pictures taken!hhahahah...cute and fun! =]

Basically, it's amazing..no words can express how happy i am with the whole production. i'm quite sad that it's over! many memories..really..everything seems to go by so fast..and i'm suppose to like leave jkt to go back to spore.. i'm so sad!!!! hix...but i really cant wait to go back to jkt and have more fun with the people i love!!!

Don't be shock to see THICK make up -- hey, that's what theater is all about! you are not yourself! You are portraying an individual! =p
