phew! now i got time to sit n type! hahhaa...

anyway, here's it...

Thurs-Sat, Apr 26-29, 2007 = MSI Ministry Leadership Conference in Jakarta

Guess what i'm doing? singing! yes, it's my passion but still, it's tiring as in energy draining.

THURSDAY -- First was the first night which is the conference opening. Apostle Emmanuel Cannistraci was the main speaker. It's so great to actually see him again after like 5 years! Wow. anyway, the praise n worship is great! awesome i would say. Oh, for this night, i sang for the offering song also. Joey,Josh,Leah,Hara,Fina and I were suppose to sing it. i'm, of course, the soprano. anw, at first we were going to sing it, so on wednesday night, we rehearsed a quick one. (the song is still fresh in our mind -- even the parts). but then, it got cancelled as they said there will be no offering. but then it's on again. then it's cancelled again. so josh n joey were going to go home as they don't want to join the service. but then, we were called that we need to sing the offering song! haha..so eventually, josh went home but joey was still there! haha..so we got up n sing. btw, the audience had to wait for like 5 sec delay coz we were not paying attention of our queue -- this is due to d fact that we're backstage and we hv no clue wats happening in front..haha.. that's the end of first night!

Now, the second day of conference, i was suppose to sing in the morning. but i figure i was going to lost my voice! i was like "NOOOOO".. yes, it's a NO NO coz friday night is the Rebirth Concert!!! why i lost my voice? coz before thursday night, we actually rehearse for the concert on wednesday night. From 6 - 11 pm!!! gosh....though we dun really sing non stop, but still!!! we're tired!!! dang tired! so then i should save my voice. i rested in the apartment

---- OH OH...SIDETRACK...---

for this conference, i actually stayed in setiabudi residence (apartment) coz i'm lazy to go back n forth that far! from my house to the MSA building is like 1 hr with traffic!! and i know i will go home late! so i figure, staying somewhere near is the best. so i did. it's fun! i love the place. i slept with my lil cousin. she's so cute man. i actually talked to her at night...i mean TALK stuff! good stuff! lol.. i want to stay there again!!!!

---- BACK TO THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT REHEARSAL ----

so yes, we practice with the lighting also. it's cool. but i was still looking forward for the real night! anw, i din really feel nervous.. i have no clue why.. i actually din really memorize the songs! CMON! it's like LIVE Recording but i dun memorize the songs?!?!?! hahaha..not to worry, i can see the screen at the balcony to peek on the lyrics..ahaha..

FRIDAY -- So moving on the the Rebirth Concert ~~ whoa... i went to the salon first before the last rehearsal. wheee...it's so cool. i love my hair in fact..haha..went to the closest salon = Peter Sareang in Setiabudi Plaza. i just blow n style my hair = cost Rp. 75,000. not bad... considering my long hair. haha..shampoo too btw..

after rehearsal, we all went downstairs for make up touch up and change clothes. my outfit look great btw.. RED! haha.. did my make up at the salon, but Fini touch up on the eye shadow.. oh yea! we were suppose to wear this fake eyelash! i cant wear it..seriously!!!! most of us were having trouble with it. in the end, Leah n i din wear it..hahhahaha...btw, there are only 6 girls in Rebirth Band... hahaha..all singing except fini -- keyboardist..

here's the list of what i wore for the concert..

1. Top: Red/ White stripe, long -- TOPSHOP -- Rp. 235,000 (about S$39)
2. Bottom: Jeans, long -- GUESS -- in US$...forgot how much..
3. Bracellet: Red flat circle and black plastic bead -- TOPSHOP -- Rp. 23,700 (about S$4) [btw, it's on sale from Rp. 79,000 (abt S$13).
4. Neckalce: Red oval bead -- my mom's....
5. Earring: Red circle bead, hanged -- my mom's...
6. Shoes: Dark Orange Jeans sneakers -- CONVERSE -- Rp. 250,000 (about S$41) [it's on sale too]
7. Socks: White heel cut -- TOMMY HILLFIGER -- from Costco in US$ too.. hoho...

anw, back to the CONCERT! it was like soooo hot!! it started at 7pm.. but then it's the doorprize thing for the opening act. haha..the band din really got to see it coz we're lie backstage worrying about how to calm our nervousness!hhahhaa...i had to actually go back n forth the toilet for like 4x at least before the concert! i was so nervous then! we did pray beforehand, but what i fear most is forgetting my lyrics and my parts! hahaha...so, we were all backstage waiting for at least 45 min for us to come to the stage. we had no idea how many people were there! but from the screams we heard == A LOT! they actually did record 30sec of audience screaming and cheering! hahha..it's awesome to hear but yet, we're very nervous then! haha.. i heard them cheer "REBIRTH, REBIRTH, REBIRTH" couple of times! waaaaaa.....nervous! we're all sweating like mad even though it's cold! hoooo....finally we were called up!!!! we hug each other, blessing one another, high fiving, and breathing! for goodness sake! it's like hot! so here we gooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

First came the musicians with really dark lights! cant really see them coming. they start playing the music! singers backstage still hear the audience scream like mad!!!!!!! WOOOOO......we singers ran in and clapping at the same time. audiences? CHEER LIKE MAD AGAIN! haha...fina came in and there we go! started! and more CHEERS came! it's really hot!!!!!!! throughout the whole concert, i can really see the excitement in all of us who were attending. young n old -- btw, it's a standing concert with few chairs at the back and in balcony only. so young people stand, old sit... [sort of]..

the presence of God was so strong that i couldnt help but JUMP and be excited! i saw this 1 lil girl in front [ we got those "fence" type to distance the audience from the stage]. She was really radical! she sang and worship sooooo amazingly. she never sat! she stand all the way thru. i mean, she's very seriously in worshipping! she bless me a lot whenever i see her! hahhaha...

AUDIENCE CHEERED as we came to our ending position which is singers running back to backstage. musicians? still playing the outro.. finally LOUD ROAR from everyone!!!!! we were all backstage sweating like mad and hugging each other! haha...finding drinks! hahaha...its hotness! but then,,, this was what we all heard....

"MORE!! WE WANT MORE!! REBIRTH! WE WANT MORE!!"

WE GOT ENCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so then we were all deciding what to sing. finally -- at 10 PM -- we decided to sing "Not Forgotten".. wow..everyone again CHEERED and doign all kinds of dance movements! hahaha...it's really fun! we were all over the stage too! hahahha...lights glowing n roving! IT"S AWESOME! finally, it's the end! we really feel statisfied, but cant wait for more!! hahaha....we enjoyed it, people enjoyed it [even those strangers], i believe God enjoyed it! it's THICK HOTNESS!

that's the end of the HIGHLIGHT of my week! i went to the apartment and rested! hahaha...with pictures, of course... cant wait to hear the result!! BUY THE ALBUM PEOPLE!

SATURDAY -- i was suppose to teach gr 1 bible class, but i lost my voice from the screaming n singing the previous night. so instead, i attend the conference session..haha..not bad..it's really encouraging to hear the sessions! at night, we had the building dedication! we got to see old faces!! as in lots of memories from the people we havent seen in a LONG time...seriously LONG time! it's awesome..took pictures n stuff too. btw, here, i sang also..the new building is really a testimony to God's miracle power in our church. yes, it's touching too..haha...touching speeches and prophecies. i got prophecied!!! it's about me developing my talent in drama, creative arts, performing...it's by Opa C, btw..no one had ever told him that i'm into drama and i'm doing drama. but it's so cool tat he mentioned it! God's amazing! ROCK!

SUNDAY -- it's not really part of the conference. but i had to sing for 2 services.. it din happen coz my mom was late in fetching me to church. so in the end, i only sang for 1 service. it's cool too btw... still have the lights roving around! hehe.... after church, we went to Duck King Restaurant in Senayan City. went with PKs, the owner n his wife, and Opa C n his wife, also Om Rhesa's family. we got to eat a lot too...too much that we had to send several dishes to the guy's table. for desert, we got gelatissimo. fini treated me. so i got the single scoop chocomint. taste great! hehe..

Singing for like 5 days straight isnt that bad, when u din actually lost your voice! hehehe...with enough warm up and rest and God's strength, you'll knock it all down! cheers!

AND SO....that's my hectic schedule. i'm slacking here in indo. it's a nice time to actually do that. coz HELLO! i'm in a holiday mood! no studying! hehe..i dun want this time to end. i actually finished 5 movies in 2 days.. haha..how cool is that? =p and i'm slacking by playing the sims... not so much of being online. coz i'm bored of it..hehe..did that a lot in spore. now i want to try something different. and i did..it's fun.. i'm still enjoying myself...

ok..im off now..written too long! getting lazier! hehe...pictures of the concert will be posted as soon as i get it...

btw, i'm watching SPIDERMAN 2mrw! woohoo...world premiere...with the PKs of course! ciao...
